The details for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test are described below.

Operating Procedure
Schedule:
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 19:00 (PDT)

*The Open Beta Test will be online continuously for 24 hours a day.
*Maintenance and any other announcements will be posted accordingly.

*Information on testing dates and times will also be posted on the official FINAL FANTASY XIV Twitter feed.

Log-in Capacity
During the initial stages of the beta test, the number of players allowed to be logged in at any given time will be limited, with capacity to gradually increase as adjustments are performed on server load. Should the maximum capacity already be reached when you attempt to log in, a message will appear indicating that the world is currently congested, and you will be asked to try again in a short while. At this time you will be placed on a waiting list in the order of attempted log-in time. To maintain your position on the waiting list, you must initiate the log-in procedure again within ten minutes of your first attempt.

Feedback Submission
While playing, testers who have been asked to submit opinions on anything at all regarding topics such as game balance issues, settings that you may have found difficult to understand, and features that you felt were inconvenient, unintuitive, or required further explanation are asked to use the feedback hread, and for those testers who have been assigned the task of reporting bugs are asked to use the bug report form.

Just wanted to give everyone a nice quick update on the status of Failol once again.

Forsaken World

No real new news about Forsaken world, just keeping an eye on it. Closed beta will possibly start sometime after E3.

Final Fantasy XIV

Having been selected to particapate in FFXIV Alpha, I have decide to put Failol recruitment in motion. I have posted our recruitment threads on various FFXIV fan sites and am hoping to build our reputation among these communities. Please go support us. To do so check out this thread http://failol.com/forums/index.php?topic=85.0. Much of my time will be focused on testing alpha and learning as much as I can about the game for you guys. I will be making guides with videos as well as a recruitment video.

I would also like to see our forums get a little bit more active. So please try to find some time to post some things! Also please suggest any section you think our forums should have, that I may be missing!

Welcome to the new site everyone and thank you Impiety for the site and domain!

Most of the core member's of Failol are excited about a game called Forsaken World and will be playing that game when it comes out in 2-3months. Unfortunately, some countries are IP banned from PWI games. I've looked for a work around but have come up short so far. I feel very bad for anyone who gets left behind when we go to play Forsaken world, which we will probably play until Final Fantasy XIV. FF XIV is supposed to come out at the end of the year. Since this game is open worldwide, hopefully some of you that are willing to play a p2p can rejoin up with us.
